IELTS (International English Language Testing System) is recognised as an entrance requirement by British, USA, Australia, New Zealand and Canadian Universities, for secondary & vocational training programmes, Immigration & Employment abroad. IELTS is jointly owned by the University of Cambridge, the British Council & IDP Australia. Over 3800 educational institutions govt. agencies & professional organisations overall 120 countries recognise IELTS.

IELTS has two modules: The General version & the academic version. Both the modules have 4 sections each – Listening, Reading, Writing and speaking. Candidates must select either the GT or the Academic version depending on the requirements of the particular university, sponsor or registered body. The IELTS test is administrated at centres through the world. The score is valid for a period of two years.
